Review: Scrubba Wash Bag For Washing Clothes Anywhere
Let me start by saying that I have wanted something just like this, for years! I travel a lot and I wash my clothes while away, always by hand as I don’t have the time or money to find somewhere to get my clothes washed while travelling.
This lets you wash your clothes easily and quickly with a lot less mess as I get water all over when I handwash!
As someone chronically ill and disabled, I find handwashing clothes not only extremely draining on my energy, but it causes a lot of pain and aggravates my chronic pain and chronic fatigue.
I end up exhausted and in so much pain that I have to lay down for the rest of the day! That is how hard it is for me.
This is why the Scrubba wash bag is so great as it lets you clean your clothes quickly, with minimal mess and minimal work as the washboard part inside the bag makes scrubbing much easier!
I found it much better than handwashing the regular way.
You can use the Scrubba wash bag anywhere you want! As long as you have access to water and some detergent to use, you can hand wash your clothes in a hotel or even camping! You don’t need a sink, only water!
The bag has nodules on the side of it which helps remove dirt from clothing easily. That means less scrubbing as the bag helps do the work.
The water is kept in the bag rather than all over you, meaning it is less messy too as how many times have you soaked yourself handwashing clothes? I know I have many times!
You just throw your clothes, some warm water and washing detergent into the scrubba wash bag, then roll it down a few times before fastening the clip. Then expel air and tighten the valve, then start scrubbing! Detailed instructions below, but it is very simple to use and works really well!
I also let it soak just a little while before rinsing, which it doesn’t say to do, but being disabled I personally think this helps save a little time scrubbing. If you have some stains, you might want to do the same as it really helped remove any stains I had.
I used this bag 6 times on vacation and it was so worth using it!
It did seem to save time, it was definitely less messy and helped save a lot of arm work scrubbing as it has the built in scrubbing board which really does work well.
I highly recommend it to anyone that travels and washes clothes on vacation.
Even if you don’t usually wash clothes on vacation, you can pack less clothes and wash them more often and therefore pack light. I managed to pack much lighter than I usually would as I expected to handwash my clothes using this. Saved a lot of room!
This is definitely a must have for those who pack light and wash often! Save money on laundrettes as well.
