Luggage Storage While Travelling

If you travel, you have most likely encountered the issue where you are left with luggage after checking out of your hotel.

Many hotels, (especially the more expensive ones) have left luggage facilities, where you can leave your bag after checking out.

But not all hotels offer this.
This is where luggage storage companies come into play!
You can pay to leave your luggage in specific locations for a certain time, for a small fee. You are insured against theft/loss.

This means that you can spend your time enjoying the last hours of your vacation, rather than pulling your suitcase around the city streets, or sitting in a coffee shop because you don’t want to pull it around.
Leave it for a small fee and enjoy your time!

Here are some of the best:

Also, In the UK there are some companies inside airports/bus/train stations usually ran by the company “Excess Baggage Company“. Prices are usually more expensive than with the other companies above.

What is the advantage of using these companies?
There are a few advantages of doing this. Quite a few actually!
Firstly, you are insured if anything is stolen, which is very unlikely anyway as they keep your luggage safe in a room, but it is better to be safe than sorry, so the insurance is very much welcome, especially when so many people have various electronic items that cost a fortune.

Secondly, it pretty cheap to leave your luggage, usually much cheaper than any luggage lockers you may find in airports, train or bus stations.

Thirdly, you don’t have to worry whether your bag will fit like you do with lockers in some stations!

Finally, there are locations all over the city in various places all over the world!
So instead of having to go to that one train or bus station that you know has a locker, that may or may not fit your luggage, you can drop your luggage off at one of many places all over the entire city that is convenient to you!

I personally found that Radical Storage (formally Bagbnb) had some of the best prices and most locations with over 4500 locations all over the world! They give you insurance so that your baggage is insured against loss, plus they claim to have never had a single item of luggage lost!
I find their prices are much better than competing companies, and with the fact they have never lost a bag, I personally prefer them and use them myself. They are also one of the longest running luggage storage apps.

But check out the links and see if this will work for you!

Have you used luggage storage before?
How was it for you and who did you use?
